this is my baby Twix and me. i rescued him when he was a month old. his mother left him behind a dumpster at the school where my mom works, and he was being abused by some of the rude students that went to the high school. it was hard to get him, due to his fear of humans, but eventually we managed to lure him into a cat food-filled box, and then home. we took him to the vet first thing, and the only thing wrong with him was worms, thank god. we bottle fed him for a while, and i kept him in my room every night to tame him. it worked, and now he hardly ever leaves my side. he is like our little miracle kitty, because he is the only cat my mom isn’t allergic to. he’s my best friend, because he is always there when i’m upset or crying or angry or all of the above. it sounds silly, i know, but i believe that animals heal, help, and love better than humans or modern medicine. Twix certainly has done that.
